Celebrity trainer: The Tracy Anderson Method, get Results in 30 minutes a day

Bachelorettes take care of herself, and taking care of yourself includes a good fitness routine. I have tried many fitness modalities in the last decade including Zumba, Vinyasa Yoga, spinning, Cross Fit, Barre, Winsor Pilates (read my review here), P90X, kickboxing, etc… No matter how many modalities I’ve tried, I find myself going back to Tracy Anderson’s method every 1 to 2 years, to sculpt my physique.

Starting A Workout Routine

I have been on a workout kick lately, so I do a lot of browsing for new DVDs on Amazon. I can get bored easily if I keep doing the same things over and over again. Besides, the reviews on Amazon can be quite reliable at times, especially when it comes to a work out video. What person is going to lie about a workout video?? Once I read all of the comments about Tracy Anderson and her mat workout, I decided that I better give it a try.

It was actually easier for me to visualize myself looking like her after doing this workout for a while.

The Beginning

When I started my workout, the first thing that I noticed is that Tracy is short. She’s only about 5’2” which is about two inches taller than I am. While I was trying to figure out how I felt about her height, I realized that this was actually perfect for me. I decided that it was actually easier for me to visualize myself looking like her after doing this workout for a while. It must have something to do with us being the same size instead of her being a 5’10” super model of sorts. I was starting to think that I really did make a good choice with this workout DVD.

Workout

During the first few minutes of the DVD, Tracy talks about “accessory muscles” and how everyone needs to work on sculpting them. These muscles have a huge difference with how much strength you have in your body. I really didn’t know what she was talking about, but I thought that maybe once we started the workout, I would figure out what these muscles were.

What Was I Thinking Moment

After doing the standing leg workout for ten minutes, I realized what muscles she was talking about. I found different areas on my legs that I had no idea were even there. I had pain in my hip flexors and my lower back and any other area I could try to think of. She really knew what she was talking about with those “accessory muscles”.

Stepping Up My Routine

After I was working out for a while, I discovered the Metamorphosis series that says it will give you a full body workout in 30 minutes max. It is a series of ten different workouts that will give you the body of your dreams in ten weeks. I purchased the DVDs and headed to LA Fitness 3-5 times a week to try them out. Even though it felt like everyone was staring at me, I didn’t really care.

The best thing about it was that the pain was good and I loved the routines.

The Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis series is a serious workout that is tough on arms and legs. She has you doing things that are very unnatural, but that is what is so good about it. My body is hurting in ways it never did before when I was only walking or jogging. The best thing about it was that the pain was good and I loved the routines. I finished the entire series and I still go back and do it on occasion in between my other workouts. I have completely finished the series twice now and each time I am still amazed at how good I feel afterwards.

Exercise

If you are into fitness then I highly recommend this, but you should know that it isn’t for the faint at heart!
